We stock FSC-certified and recycled paper across the range, and we'd rather be specific about where a product's credentials stand than print a green badge on everything.
Paper
A large part of our paper range carries FSC certification or recycled content. Where the manufacturer publishes a chain-of- custody number or a recycled-content percentage, we pass it through on the product so your purchasing team can document it for ISO 14001 audits — and where they don't, we say so rather than guess.

Packaging
Outer cartons are 100% recycled corrugated board. We use minimal void-fill (paper, not air pillows). Plastic-wrapped reams come wrapped in PCR film where the manufacturer offers it, and we're actively phasing out single-use plastic for our private-label lines through 2026.
Delivery
Hub Pro members get carbon-neutral UK delivery — we offset every shipment via Gold Standard-verified projects. Standard trade and Hub Essential customers can opt in to carbon-neutral at checkout for £0.50 per order. This isn't an upsell; it pays the offset directly.
Returns
Damaged items: we send a pre-paid label and the courier collects. We don't make customers pay return shipping on our mistakes. Unwanted items in resale condition (within 30 days): we cover the return.
What we don't claim
We're not carbon-neutral as a business. Stationery has an inherent footprint, and pretending otherwise would be greenwashing. What we do is be specific about where the impact is and offer real paths to reduce it.
