Paper · what we stock

FSC-certified paper is the default across our catalogue — it doesn't cost more, so there's no reason to stock the alternative. Every paper SKU shows its post-consumer waste percentage on the product page, so you can compare 30% recycled to 100% recycled to virgin paper on the same shelf. The trade-off is real: 100% recycled is slightly rougher under a printer and costs 5–8% more per ream. That's your call — we just tell you the number.

Toner · take-back

Empty toner cartridges from any brand can be sent back to us with your next order. We ship them on to the OEM refurbisher for the brands that run one (HP, Brother, Canon, Xerox), and to a UK plastics recycler for the rest. Freepost, no forms.

Packaging · reused where possible

Boxes we receive stock in get reused for outbound orders whenever they fit. If the box on your desk has a supplier's branding on the underside, that's why. We don't use plastic void fill — shredded paper from our own packing benches goes in the box instead.

Delivery · UK stock, UK routes

Every SKU we list ships from UK stock. Nothing on the site ships from overseas by air, ever — the whole point of a supply house is that it's local. UK deliveries go via scheduled Royal Mail and DPD; where the carrier runs an electric fleet on the last mile (currently DPD in most of Zones 1–6), your parcel finishes the journey on it.

What we don't claim

We're not carbon-neutral. Nobody shipping 18,000 SKUs across the UK actually is. We buy renewable electricity for the building, we don't buy carbon offsets to pretend the rest away, and we're working through supplier engagement to reduce upstream emissions one category at a time. It's slow, honest work. Anyone who tells you their SME is fully net-zero is either buying offsets or exaggerating.
